My Bio
I do more writing than drawing. You may find posted here vague ideas which may be connected to novels I am currently working on. There may also be unrelated ideas and even snippets of novels I've written which may otherwise never see light of day. And you may also on a very rare occasion, find a drawing I've done.

Favourite Bands / Musical Artists
Jean Michel Jarre, Francis Rimbert, Claude Samard, Space Art
The "lock down" of the UK continues. It's kind of that point where no one is really sure what day it is. My calendar say Tuesday, but I'm not convinced. Collie thinks this is the best thing ever because I'm home so much. She'll just gloss over the fact that I would have been home all the time anyway because this is kind of my normal life. I mostly spend my time listening to a French radio station (Radio Equinoxe) only switching to a UK news channel in time for the daily ritual our government goes through where they pat themselves on the back for not really doing anything. Why watch it? It's a good stress relief to rant at a politician lying on the TV. There isn't really that opportunity listening to Radio Equinoxe. After I finished part 3 of A Dangerous Game, I decided to take a bit of time off (watch concert videos under the guise of "research") to smell the dried flowers. I like to make little scented things and so have a lot of dried lavender, chamomile... you get the idea. I do

So, the UK is kind of in lock down right now. I say kind of, because, as always, there are people who actually need to be told by the PM that this is lock down to stop them going to the seaside or wherever because "we're off work, so may as well make the best of it while the weather's good." Being stuck at home can be pretty boring (I know as my bad health means I'm not able to work, so... yeah, welcome to my daily life). I decided to get back to doing some writing, which is a bad idea because that means I don't sleep. Having a dog, I decided early on that the word "quarentine" didn't sit well with me. I don't like it. So, I have adopted the phrase "sparkling isolation" because it sounds so much nicer, plus I can keep using it to avoid things I don't want to when this is all over "Sorry, can't make it. I'm in sparkling isolation." See! If someone told you that, you wouldn't question it. So... Until further notice, Collie and myself will be in Sparkling Isolation, writing, listening to

It is Christmas Eve here in Chez Motty. You can tell it is Christmas Eve. The small tree (£1 from Asda and 1 foot high) is in a crumpled heap after the dog sat on it. She then decided to go all in on being on the naughty list so ate the ginger biscuits left out for Santa Paws and the kibble for his rein-huskies. As a result, I am drinking a Christmas Eve red wine and wondering why I bother with a tree each year. Trees that arrive at Chez Motty in recent years have not had much in the way of longevity. In 2014, we got a real Christmas tree. After still finding pine needles in March, it was decided that no real tree would cross the threshold again. In 2015 I got a 3 foot tree. It lasted until New Years day 2017 when the dog decided to see if it was edible. 2017's tree ended up in the bin following a tug of war between me and the dog when I tried to stop her dismantling it. As a result, there was no tree last year at Chez Motty. In hindsight, his year should have stayed tree-free, but I
